![]() Personally, my list would be longer than this blog post, I have had more mentors than I can count and every single one of them has been instrumental to my progress as a lifter and trainer. I have never met anyone who has had success in the gym that can’t name one or multiple people who helped them improve their lifting along the way. Now they can afford to replace that piece of equipment that’s been down since the summer and get another squat rack preventing the aforementioned murder by weight plate. If the influx of new members keep at it and become engaged in the facility purchasing extras (training, Pilates, group ex, etc.), then the financial gain of the gym helps their bottom line. ![]() We know January 1st brings tons of new paying members to your gym, more members mean more money. ![]() Not only is that a more respectful way to deal with other human beings in general, this may benefit you in the long run. Here’s a novel idea, instead of bashing the gym newbie with insults, maybe a better route to take would be showing them proper form or teaching them the unwritten rules of gym etiquette. It takes time, consistency and in most cases a helping hand from a veteran. Remember when you were a new lifter, back when you were supersetting bench press and bicep curls 5 days per week and doing crunches and cardio as “finishers”? When most of your back training was the lower back arch you were getting on standing curls and leg day was jogging 1 mile? Everyone starts somewhere, nobody brand new is going to be totally polished as far as the intricacies of how to handle themselves in the gym. Or maybe just don’t be an asshole, whatever works for you. While the inner meathead may react in this fashion, every so often it pays off to take a step back and look at the bigger picture before you let your surging testosterone hijack the interaction with the gym newbies in your way.

It’s also why we’re likely to have odd, strange, or thought-provoking high thoughts after indulging in a bowl of primo weed. That’s why when we’re using an energetic sativa strain, we may be more creative or better able to see and attack problems differently than when we’re sober. So it’s true: we think differently when we’re stoned. It also affects the cerebral cortex, which handles most of the brain’s higher-level mental functions. THC causes temporary changes in the brain’s hippocampus, which is largely responsible for coordinating memories and facts. Here are two more pertinent examples for our discussion of high thoughts. For instance, THC activates the brain’s pleasure and reward systems, which is what makes getting high so enjoyable. There are lots of ECS receptors in the brain, which is the primary reason why weed’s effects are most noticeably felt on brain function. When you ingest cannabis, that similarity allows THC to interact with ECS receptors - and disrupt the body’s normal communications. The molecular structure of cannabinoids like THC is almost identical to the structure of an important endocannabinoid. Neurotransmitters known as endocannabinoids travel throughout the central nervous system, attaching to ECS receptors and delivering messages that coordinate bodily functions like immune response, pain control, sleep, and brain processing. The body has an extensive chemical messaging system called the endocannabinoid system (ECS). ![]() If you suspect that high thoughts are caused by THC, you’re on the right track. When we arrived, we met the terrible reception first. We were satisfied with the hotel overall, but unless we get a really good deal next time, we may look at other options. We used some mileage to pay for the one-week stay. We did not use any of the amenities on this trip. It took forever to get connected and it was very slow. We could only connect one device at a time. We did have a lot of issues with the wifi. Since we were going all day, we were willing to let this go. Housekeeping just made the beds and brought fresh towels in. The room, however, was not cleaned at all the whole time we were there. The reception staff was somewhat friendly depending he time of day. It turned out to be great! It is conveniently located about a block from the RER and two blocks from a shopping mall where I could find anything from groceries to food and Starbucks! There was also an outlet mall with a 15 to 20 minute walk and Disneyland was a train station away. I was a bit hesitant to stay in the outskirts of Paris not knowing how the transportation would work getting to and from this place. At no time was an apology or compensation offered for any of these issues. The absolute icing on the cake would have to be that at Relais Spa, guests are required to take their own rubbish bags down to the basement bins when checking out. (And, be warned, only one device per room is permitted to access the wifi). We were then told to use the lobby if we needed to access the internet. An IT serviceman was called to our room but couldn't get us a stronger signal. The internet was the slowest we had ever experienced. We were only given one key even though there was two of us, so separate trips away from the hotel weren't possible. ![]() Feeling humiliated, I went and sat a few metres away while they spoke to my fiancé. We were the only guests in the lobby but I was told to leave the reception desk as "we can only talk to one guest per group at a time". The hotel looks fantastic online and upon your arrival. Arriving in Chessy, and excited to be going to Disneyland, my fiancé and I went to check in for our single-night's stay at the Relais Spa. ![]() Also be aware that anyone under the age of 18 is not allowed in the pool or spa area, which is stated on their website. They did however have a computer with Internet for use in the foyer at no cost. The only downside was the wifi connection - pretty sketchy as we found it to be elsewhere in other hotels. Staff were friendly and helpful, assisting with booking our tickets for the Eiffel Tower to avoid queues when we got there. The room was very modern and clean and comfortable. The suite was spacious with a separate master bedroom and ensuite and a second bathroom and small kitchen. We only paid 125 Euros for a junior suite for my husband and myself and our 2 and 6 year olds. There was also a fantastic shopping centre very close by as well as pubs and restaurants. Relais Spa Chessy was an excellent choice, with underground car parking and the metro station only about 300m away, with a 40 minute train ride into Paris. We wanted somewhere we could drive to, and leave the car without having to drive into the city. We stayed here for 4 nights after 2 nights at Disneyland Paris. ![]() Return crypto.randomBytes(Math. Adding a salt to a password and then hashing the result reduces the possibility of having duplicate hashes. Therefore, no two users should have the same password hash. Having the same password hash for two or more users also makes it easier for an attacker to predict the password. These are methods where someone pre-calculates the hashes of common passwords and stores them for others to use. Hashes of the same password are identical, making them easier to crack using lookup tables and rainbow tables. The hashed result is then stored in the database. The Bcrypt node modules provides an easy way to create and compare hashes. ![]() Keypair diagram Generate an RSA Keypair in Node.Salt hashing is a technique where we take a user’s password and a random string of characters, known as a salt, combine them, and then hash the resulting string using a suitable hashing algorithm. Nodejs provides crypto modules to perform the encryption and hashing of sensitive information such as passwords. As their names indicate, the private key should be kept secret, while the public key can be shared freely. Since the same process is always applied, the same input always yields the same output. No matter the size of the original string (i.e., the plain text password), the output (the hash) is always the same length. The solution is to use an algorithm like RSA that generates a keypair containing a public and private key. The hash algorithm takes in a string of any size and outputs a fixed-length string. const bcrypt require ( 'bcrypt') Step 3: Generate a Salt Call the bcrypt.genSalt () method to generate a salt. Using npm: npm install bcrypt Using yarn: yarn add bcrypt Step 2: Import Bcrypt At the top of your JavaScript file, import Bcrypt. This is problematic in the real world because it’s not practical or secure to share across a network. Step 1: Install Bcrypt Install bcrypt by running the following terminal commands. Using a shared key works for encryption works, but the problem is that both parties must agree upon the key. Once the infusion has started, monitor the rate closely to be sure it is infusing at the correct rate and check the patient’s IV site for signs of infiltration or inflammation. Using this formula, 100 mL divided by 30 min, times 60 min in 1 hr, equals 199.9, rounded to 200 mL/hr. This equals the IV flow rate in mL/hr which is the standard method of setting infusion rates on IV pumps. ![]() If you need to set this up on an IV infusion pump, use the formula, volume (mL) divided by time (min), multiplied by 60 min over 1 hour. Use the formula, with 100 mL divided by 30 min, multiplied by 10 gtt/min, which equals 33.3, rounded to 33 gtt/min. Calculate how many gtt/min to set as the IV drip rate. You have macrodrip tubing with a drop factor of 10 gtt/mL. Let’s look at an example of an IV piggyback medication… 1 gram of Ancef in 100 mL of normal saline is to be infused over 30 minutes. The drops per minute would be calculated as total volume, divided by time (in minutes), multiplied by the drop factor of 60 gtts/min, which also equals 41.6, rounded to 42 drops per minute. The total volume (500 mL), divided by the total time in hours (12), equals 41.6, rounded to 42 mL per hour. For example, you have 500 mL to infuse over 12 hours with a microdrip set. Here’s a tip… When the IV tubing is microdrip, 60 gtt/mL, the drops per minute will be the same as the mL per hour. Using the formula, 1,000 mL divided by \(8\times 60\) (since we have 8 hours times 60min/hr), then multiply by 15 gtt/min to equal 31.2, rounded to 31 gtt/min. Calculate how many gtt/min to set as the IV flow rate. You have a macrodrip tubing with a drop factor of 15 gtt/mL. The provider has ordered 1,000 mL Lactated Ringers to infuse over 8 hours. The formula for calculating the IV drip rate is… total volume (in mL) divided by time (in minutes), multiplied by the drop factor (in gtt/mL), which equals the IV drip rate in gtt/min. ![]() To calculate the drip rate, however, the drop factor is needed. For example, if you have 1,000 mL Normal Saline to infuse over 8 hours, take 1,000 mL divided by 8 hours, to equal 125 mL/hr. If you simply need to figure out the infusion rate, or the mL per hour to infuse, take the total volume in mL, divided by the total time in hours that the medication is ordered to be infused over, to equal the rate in mL per hour. Microdrip tubing delivers 60 gtt/mL and is used for small or very precise amounts of fluid, as with neonates or pediatric patients. Macrodrip tubing generally delivers 10 to 20 gtt/mL and is used to infuse large volumes or to infuse fluids quickly. Macrodrip and microdrip refers to the diameter of the needle where the drop enters the drip chamber. The drop factor is the number of drops in one mL of solution and is printed on the IV tubing package. When calculating the drip rate, first identify which IV tubing you will be using, microdrip or macrodrip, so you can use the proper drop factor in your calculations. ![]() Regardless of the method, it is important to know how to calculate the correct IV drip rate. IV fluids may be infused by gravity using a manual roller clamp or dial-a-flow, or infused using an infusion pump. When you have an order for an IV infusion, it is the nurse’s responsibility to make sure the fluid will infuse at the prescribed rate. Welcome to this video on calculating IV drip rates. ![]() Theres just alot of optimization in this game that had not been done and has been overlooked due to a meta culture that is not necessarily optimal. Over the course of a 10 minute fight, having that extra movement allowing you to position properly, get off a cast, etc, adds up in a way that cannot be simmed. While this is true on a patchwork style fight, it is made painfully obvious within moments that there aren't patchwork fights in this game. ![]() He says go all spec then crit or swift optional where crit is "more damage". It's made painfully obvious when you consider igniter sorcs and saintones build for example. With its release in the west, it's quite possible that this will change and grudge will not be the meta engraving anymore. The fact is that the grudge/cursed doll meta has never been challenged in any manner because outside of a small sect of Korean players, there isn't a world first mmo style scene of sweaty boys looking to upturn the meta. Theres a reason why Korea has never been at the top of the wow mmo raiding scene, even while they dominate more individual skill intensive games like sc1/sc2. It's not a bait post at all just what a lot of bad players who can't do math don't realize. Please let me know if I am missing anything important here, like if one has significantly less dps than the other in Korea. ![]() Deathblade has no skills with a RE Deathblade and I currently plan to switch mains. Adrenaline 3 and Keen Blunt 3 have poor efficiency on Deathblade, but great efficiency on Reaper. And finally, with the recent Reaper buffs, she now has an easier time applying synergy than Deathblade, and she also now has possibly the best counter in the game, allowing her to easily counter whether in front or behind the boss and, in both cases, instantly travel back behind the boss for quick dps uptime.Īnother huge point is engravings, which Reaper has better access to. Reaper is MUCH less punishing in this regard. Just missing two skills can easily triple the length of her rotation, tanking her dps as a result. If Deathblade misses Void Strike or Soul Absorber, she may not get enough meter for her next rotation. Reaper doesn’t need to constantly build meter, if she misses a red skill, no big deal, just move on. Reaper’s dps is more bursty, only requiring her to use her red skills every 8-12 seconds and spamming a stabby skill every 3 seconds (which doesn’t even need to hit the boss) moving around doesn’t impact her dps nearly as much. Deathblade’s maximum dps requires her to stand completely still and spam her skills non-stop each second not standing still lowers her dps. Reaper’s main movement skills have extremely low CDs, meaning better survivability. Reaper’s movement options have more distance, meaning better dps uptime on a boss running away. Reaper always has capped attack/movement speed, meaning better dodging and more survivability, whereas Deathblade only has capped speed when maelstrom is active. Reaper has no charge/hold skills, meaning more fluid play and less time standing still. ![]() And I will say though that some of Deathblade’s skills are prettier to look at.Īs for what Reaper is better at… a LOT. However, this is completely offset by one of Reaper’s pros which I will go into later. Reaper is also much squishier than Deathblade, about equivalent to having an additional grudge. Reaper lacks a maelstrom type party buff, but in endgame, many classes are able to reach movement/attack speed cap without maelstrom. All in all, in terms of movement, dps, and feel/playstyle of the class, these two feel interchangeable to me.Īs for what Reaper is worse at… not much. They are both sustained damage classes, and from what I am able to discern, with the recent reaper buff, their dps should mostly be similar, but let me know if this is incorrect as there is almost no discussion about this. They both have the same types of movement built into 5 of their most chosen abilities. They both have 4 similar primary damage skills with long cooldowns that are reduced by some class mechanic. They are both back attack classes with the unique ability to instantly jump behind raid bosses. To start, let me quickly explain why the two builds are very similar and comparable from an end-game perspective. I am trying to see how much I want to invest in my Deathblade, as I may be planning to switch mains over to Reaper when it releases in the West. I wouldn’t mind, as I enjoy both playstyles, if it wasn’t for the fact that Thirst Reaper just seems like a better version compared to RE Deathblade. With the surge nerfs coming to Deathblade, it feels like we are being forced into RE Deathblade, as it’s far, far easier to execute for similar or just slightly less damage. notes that one of the officer had to reload his gun at least once during the incident, yet officers didn’t find any gun or shell casings when they recovered Williams’ and Russell’s bodies from the car.įind more info about the new documentary, 137 Shots, from Netflix here. on June 30 called the Westlake Police Department to report that his vehicle just died at the intersection of Dover Center Road and Hilliard Boulevard.
